Possible New Planetarium with the Bell Museum!!

I am very excited about the chance to build a new planetarium with a new Bell Museum! We are currently included in the MN House bonding bill with the support of Rep. Hausman.

Here are three informational links about the project:
Overview of the project (including planetarium)
Message from Steve Birke, Bell Museum Advisory Board Chair
Message from Susan Weller, Bell Museum Director

Please contact your MN State Representative, your MN State Senator, and Gov. Mark Dayton and express your support for this project. It will take public support from folks like you and I to make this happen.

Just a few sentences supporting the project and why you support it will be very helpful. You could mention the need for better STEM education, or how the stars inspire our youth, or an experience you had at the Bell or the planetarium, or how a flagship planetarium will help utilize the local planetariums in the state through our statewide planetarium network. Personal statements mean the most but please send a note.

Thank you for helping. Please feel free to contact me and hopefully we can gather at the new planetarium in a few years rather than in a few decades.
